Tip of the Trade - Cove Corner Sanding

Sanding a cove corner is frustrating enough without the dust building up in the corner.  I find myself continually removing my dust mask to blow it out.

I found the answer after using this small regulator for a paint gun.  It put out just a small amount of air, enough to blow out the dust without blowing it directly in my eyes.

Simply attach the regulator to the air line and turn it down all the way.  Lay the hose on the top about six inches from the corner.  Now just turn it up just a bit.

As you sand the dust gets blown away making it easy to see what your doing.

Good tip Andy. I think I will make up one of those. Bowing the dust out with pursed lips is a drag!
