Tip of the Trade: Got Globs?

If you fabricate solid surface or granite, you are bound to have lots of little globs of glue all over your floor.  They typically blend into the floor and are hard to see.

The only time they pose a real problem is when you trying to set up your benches and it just so happens a big glob of glue is making the bench uneven.

Sure you could bend over and scrap it with a chisel every time it happens, but there is an easier way.

Get a piece of solid surface material about 6' long.  Move the benches, and with the material at a 45 degree angle to the floor, slowly push the material.  The glue will be removed from the floor quick and easy.

Unlike the fabricator in the picture, be sure to wear goggles or safety glasses.  The little chips will pop off and fly in all directions.  So be careful.
