Bessey KliKlamp

The Bessey Kliklamp is one of the specialty clamps that many shops seem to miss. KliKlamp is one of the lightest clamps on the market, utilizing a magnesium jaw, glass fiber reinforced polyamid lever and the world famous Bessey steel rail, while providing 330lbs of clamping pressure.

Its ease of use and the no slip clamping action makes for tight, and secure clamping without the risk of over tightening which can cause surface damage or even breakage.

Screw type clamps are always a guess. "Just Snug" to one person might be too loose to support the purpose of the clamp. Those that have had a material slip while using a router knows the problems with under tightening. When working with trainees in a shop setting, it is sometimes necessary to double check if they tighten correctly. Not with this clamp.

The risk of under or over tightening is eliminated. Two quick actions are needed to operate this clamp. Slide the jaws together, grab the handle and pull. That's it. The clamp does have multiple stops for the handle to apply even the lightest of pressure.

This clamp has been used hundreds of times in my woodworking application, even more in the solid surface countertop fabrication. They are the only clamps I use for straightedges, templates and to secure solid surface to a table.

The Kliklamp is available in a 4", 8" and 12" model.
