Do you have a problem keeping the cuff attached to the end of your Festool Vacuum hose? Although it can be repaired, you can't merely screw it back on.  It must be repaired a certain way.

Look for the small slots on the cuff of the hose. Push the tabs on both sides of the cuff down while pulling the cuff assembly apart.

There you will find a round piece of plastic around the hose, this piece is threaded on the inside and you can unscrew it from the hose.  The hose can be cut to eliminate a bend in the hose, then the round piece gets screwed back on the hose from the end.

Screw the round piece all the way over the hose until it is coming out of the other side, then simply snap the cuff assembly back together.

The entire process takes only about 5 minutes and keeps the end of your vacuum hose firmly attached to all your tools.

Thanks! You won't see duct tape on my hose in my next video.
