EOS Surfaces has expanded availability of its copper-infused antimicrobial surface, Cupron Enhanced EOS, by partnering with five new distributors: Wilsonart (Temple, Texas), Web-Don (Charlotte, N.C.), ISG (Sterling, Va.), Fessenden Hall (Pennsauken, N.J.), and Compi Distributors (Arnold, Mo.).
These distributors will help identify healthcare facilities and other institutions throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico that could potentially benefit from a constantly working antimicrobial surface.
“Our distributor partnerships are important because they help get Cupron Enhanced EOS
into more hospitals and facilities in need of additional infection control measures,” said Ken.
Trinder, CEO of EOS Surfaces, LLC. “All this allows us to stay focused on developing more
applications for Cupron Enhanced EOS Surfaces and ways to better protect people from the spread of disease.”
Cupron Enhanced EOS Surfaces received the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) approval to make a Public Health Claim for their ability to kill greater than 99.9% of Gram
negative and Gram positive bacteria* within two hours of exposure. Prior to this, only
elemental copper and certain copper alloys held this official distinction. The addition of these distributors builds on EOS Surfaces’ existing distributor base, that are focused primarily on its other two products, EOS Solid Surfaces and GEOS, an environmentally friendly option that uses recycled glass in its construction. The addition of these five brings EOS Surfaces’ total number of distributors to 15.
