LG Hausys America, Inc. recently announced a partnership with MainStreet America® (MSA), the nation’s first new home and home product theme park. Located in Houston, Texas, MSA features 12 show homes and a 44,000 square foot guest center.
"MainStreet America is more than a showcase of new homes; it’s an educational, shopping and entertainment destination centered around the home,” says MSA owner and CEO Michael Feigin.
In addition to viewing MSA’s showcase homes, visitors can also tour cooking demonstration and interior design studios in addition to attending how-to workshops and home buying seminars.
LG Hausys Viatera® quartz countertops will be showcased in the homes alongside some of the top brand name products within the building and remodeling industry. All home and building products and accessories featured in the homes can be purchased on-site or added to guest’s virtual shopping lists using RFID technology.
“The Houston market has experienced steady job and housing growth, even in a down economy, so it’s the perfect location for this new theme park,” said Don Luther, sales director, LG Hausys. “We’re pleased to partner with MainStreet America to feature our Viatera quartz surfaces.”
Providing the elegant look of stone without the required maintenance, LG’s Viatera countertops are stain-resistant and naturally non-porous. They are manufactured domestically in a brand new manufacturing and distribution facility located just outside Atlanta, Ga.
MainStreet America is scheduled to open in May 2012 with a Parade of Homes event.
