CINCINNATI, Dec. 7, 2011 – Formica Corporation announces that A&M Supply Corporation has been named the new distributor for Formica® Brand Laminate, Formica® Solid Surfacing, DecoMetal® Metal Laminates & Solid Metals and Formica® Brand Adhesives in the Greater Baltimore/Washington market effective Jan. 2, 2012.
“A&M Supply has been a valuable partner of Formica Corporation for many years in various markets in the Southeast, and we’re excited to build on the synergies we share to improve market presence, product availability and service levels in the Baltimore/Washington market,” shared Sid Adler, Formica Corporation vice president of sales, North America.
Servicing customers five days a week – and available immediately to begin fielding calls and responding to service inquiries – A&M Supply will initially operate from its main distribution center in Upper Marlboro, Md., before opening a new facility in Baltimore in the first quarter of 2012. The distributor also has a showroom design center in Springfield, Va., as well as a manufacturing operation in Marshall, Va.
