Tom, those Darn singing gnomes!

It could have been the cough syrup. I'm under the weather, coughing my lungs out, but still working, apparently bad cold or flu virus (hopefully of the non avian variety).

I encountered the singing midgets 1 other time before, many decades ago but it was after a "Grateful Dead" concert, so that kinda has a logical explanation too.

I'm getting better.I'm ALMOST BACK TO 100% Lenny invincible! I just got back from a 2 day world factory tour (dongguan, gaoming, Foshan, Guangzhou).

1.) Factory that makes SS and E stone (old style Chinese fashion estone)
2.) Factory that makes sinks and pans
3.) Big..huge estone factory (modern ..Breton equivalent)
4.) A fab shop for estone and SS
and a visit back to factory number 2- a return visit to the factory that makes sinks and shower pans to see if they corrected mistakes.

Those guys treated me great! Fed me, 3 squares a day! I gained weight! They booked me into a hotel into a Japanese style room. I had to Laugh!

They Took me out for massage. I wanted 2 hours of foot massage...but the massage ladies whined and said thats too long..better to do 1.5 hours body massage and 30 minutes foot massage. I said OK!

My buddy got the pretty lady, I got a 30 something year old lady (kinda pretty) with magic hands. I won! She was awesome! They bought in a case of beer and a good time was had by all!
 
They dropped me off at the subway station, I took the subway to GZ, walked accross to the train station and  hopped a train to dongguan, then tried to catch a cab.
 
The cab drivers always try to charge me a lot because they think I am a stupid Kwai lo and never want to give me a fa piao (reciept). I’m getting pretty good at haggling WITH THEM. The fare should be around 35 RMB. They always want to charge me 80. I say tai que le (expensive), bullshit, etc. Then one will say 50. I say han que, bu xi wan, bu yao. Finally one said 40! I said xi wan! Then I say wo yao fa piao!

Well I got in that cab and it wouldn’t start. I had to laugh. He had to get other cab drivers to push the cab to get it to start (push start it and let the clutch out in 2nd gear). I was afraid it would stop halfway back to Qiaotou and I would be stuck in the boonies with no cab in sight.
 
He got lost, and wanted me to call someone. But I recognized where I was and pointed ahead and said go! Then a while later I said, turn right and pointed right. Then when we got there I said stop! Im getting pretty good at this finding my way around China.

When I was younger my friends and I always ended up getting out of tough situations. We decided to fo9rm the AAA Club. Our motto? ALWAYS - an Adventure!

Being inducted into any club an astute fellow like you belongs to is certainly an honor and I accept with no reservations whatsoever.

BTW, I had a Christmas eve dinner tonight. They took me to a Sushi place, thinking I was malnourished- (all imported fish..none of that pond grown bacteria loaded scum prevalent here) and I ate like a pig! All the little waitress girls had Santa hats on. For some reason I thought of that movie ‘Apocalypse now” where that surfing major had steaks flown into the LZ and had a sing along..but the more he tried to make Nam like home for the boys, the more they missed home. It was surreal.

Anyway, just to let you know, I’ve been working on some new products. It’s going to rock the world when introduced, real cutting edge stuff!  Corian etc., will eat their hearts out and wonder, how in the heck did he make that?

Also ready to introduce an acrylic EARLY next year (testing it now..survey says..it's great!) ..cheaper than Livingstone…just as good!

Thats all I can say for now..its ‘Animal House” double secret probation stuff! When it comes out, you can say.”.I know that eccentric guy that did that!” 

I’m also working some green projects too! Not that green washing BS crap all the major players are doing now, but REAL green technology! I’m going to blow them all away!

Working some fascinating Estone projects too! Life is good!

BTW I’m headed back to the states next month for a couple weeks, since I haven’t seen my wife for ½ year. When I get back, First order of business is to buy some more guns and get my ammo level back up over 10, 000 rounds. 2nd order of business is to..well just let me say, if the house is a rocking, don’t come a knocking! I have lots of pent up angst and hormones to equilibrate! 

Well at least Im good for something Andy! I will be headlining here all week at the "Guangdong  Starlight Lounge and Beer Emporium". (drum roll and rim tap!)

BTW , have the veal..they are pushing the veal! :)
