One thing I'm doing is making some short videos showing kitchens we have done in different towns. Here's one . I would like to hear your thoughts good or bad

Jon, That is a very nice clean kitchen. I think the only thing that stood out to me was the blank space behind the main kitchen sink. It might have been a good place to extend the splash to full height splash at that area.

I think it was a bit boring to be honest. Add some closeup shots, shorten the time each slide appears, better music, subtitles of what we're looking at. I actually like video rather than the slideshow, but I know it is much easier to do the slideshow. Would you be up to doing a voiceover? That's just my opinion, I could be wrong. Andy |

Good input guys, When I made the video I did it for just one purpose to rank up on Google and it worked. I wasn't really concerned about the artistic end of things. having said that yes we plan on producing some very nice videos Andy the suggestions will help.
John, good eye not sure why they left that space blank. I'll find out
Here's the second one we made . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7QKnfuem0I

yeah..I do the Monkey marketing..LOL..but they really spell it Guerilla marketing as if you are special forces..I always laugh at the people that ask you to like their page on facebook..they dont give a crap about you..just want the numbers...dont count da numbers..make the numbers count I did that online for my new logo...I asked what people think and they all clicked my website...I even did one where I gave away a cutting board...I sold some work to the people who didnt even want a cutting board...but the 'want something for free people" turned into sales reps sending my webiste pics to their friends...There is plenty of work out there...just gotta change our 'marketing techniques...I love Guerilla marketing..but what its really called internet marketing treachery..I love it |

Hey Gene, That post made me laugh. I don't do facebook. I won't water your or Jon's gardens although I may hack into it and have lil antimated helicopters (Hueys) napalm them! I use the reverse completion principle! I do totally inappropriate posts on several boards. I get nasty PM's from fat, old, has been, solid surface bee-aches..about my lack of civility and telling it like it is. I napalm them back with nary a reply. I think they are toasty by then! But everyone remembers me. I'm booked out solid now, with potential clients I have declined waiting in the wings. Apparently even negative advertizing works like a charm. Go figure! Who knew? |

Hi Tom, Oh my, I was just about to post a joke on here in the swamp when I saw the illustrious Tom post. Hunter..ah, I loved 'Fear and loathing in Las Vegas"..story of my life! Poor Hunter, he is dead. apparently a painful hip condition and he blew his brains out. I would have opted for a morphine drip while ordering around underlings in my last days (suicide is a sin), but thats just me. |

Fear and Loathing was a truly booktacular read, but really, the second half pretty much seemed a repeat of the first. His lawyer friend was in the news recently, but i can't remember what for. |

Hey guys,
Its Saturday night here, woo hoo! I get to sleep late 2morrow, but have some work To do on Sunday. 24-7 Lenny!
@ Gene, I aint gonna water the garden, thats Jon Olsens thing! ...sorry. You are correct..facebook will be on the out in several years.
Tom,
I was accused once of being Hunters 'Lawyer" at a party. I vehemently denied it, having never met the dude, even at a book signing. The A hole (accuser) who was reasonably aquainted with me was adamant. I could not dissuade him.
I always thought the 'Lawyer" in "fear and loathing"..was a ltierary vehicle to make the book work. Maybe it was a drug fueled inspired expression of Hunter's alter ego. Who knows?
BTW if there is an actual lawyer from "Fear and Loathing" in the news, please post a link..I'd be obliged as a "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" fan! :)

Oscar Zeta Acosta, aka Dr. Gonzo. And I would believe you were such a man if you were either Samoan (the novel) or a Cali Chicano by way of El Paso (real life). I hate wiki, but there it is. |

Tom, Thanks for that. A fascinating read! Vanished while in Mexico, 1974. Body never found. Last known Statement…” I am about to board a boat full of White Snow”.

Tom, Speaking of things that make ya wonder, I was awoken at dawn by a band of midgets singing show tunes outside my window. Ok, everyone (including me) is kinda short over here, so maybe there weren't exactly midgets. They were singing "ding dong the witch is dead" from The Wizard of OZ.. When I inquired "Whats up with all that racket?" I was told 'Kim Jong-il" was dead. Apparently expired from fatigue during a train ride. Wonder if they had him riding above the train wheels or underneath? I guess that puts the number 3 son, Kim Jong Un, in charge now. Axis of evil....Good times! |

I just heard that the illmatic has expired. I think I posted a link to his "journal" (fake, of course, but very funny). You're not serious about the singing gnomes, are you? I'm calling you on it, but I'm so hoping it's true. |
