Kelsey,
I was drinking no snake wine. The last of that precious stash is back in Jiangmen, under the watchful eye of Mama (my mother in Law). When I pop a bottle of that, she laughs. Because she knows I’ve had an extremely hard day. When I drink snake wine, I never post. I watch TV, and relax in that warm venomous buzz!
Mr. Butts, (opps Robert). I like Mr. Butts better. Maybe it’s the sniggling Jr. high school kid in me. However, I cannot name the principals and individuals I was referring to. It’s a consultant thing. Good and trustworthy consultants never ever reveal confidential info. Now we consultants are a spurious lot, but in that respect I am one of the better ones!
Robert, if I may, you need to look at the history and geography of Korea. It’s a little peninsula that has been invaded by Japan, China, the US, Russia, Pirates, and everyone else in the world. They are over protective from the history and seeking to screw over others before they are screwed. It’s the cultural norm there.
I’m guessing you have been to Korea as I have. Samsung, and LG are both based in Seoul (they have dueling high rise buildings). The streets are wide with very little traffic. I inquired why all these 8-10 lane roads with no cars? The reply was..”The DMZ (N Korea border is about 40 miles north of here), we have these wide streets to move the tanks around easily”. I understood that and it made me smile.
Watch your back Robert with the Koreans; they will throw you under the bus in a heartbeat for the next better option!
I can tell you a lotta funny stories about Korea, from eating live wiggly octopus tentacles etc. to dancing on the bar at the Volcano club!
