Sorry about the thread jacking but I can't help it when it comes to car talk.

Yeah, I get it now. All of the engine mods still don't help in the twisties...it sure help to widen the gap in the straights though. :)

I have cars that are pretty much the opposite of that camaro...a turbo charged 2.5 liter Subaru and a 1.8 liter NA Miata. I like to think that I can handle them pretty well though.

Brian,

It was the unibody frame that did the twisties. There is this race that goes from Texas to Mexico and back again. Guns are allowed. I traded down in Horsepower for firepower. Interested? I can hook you up. I race that in a Corrolla, with an AK, an SKS with a genade laucher, a Mosin for long range, and several pistols and plenty of ammo. It is  a hoot of a race! Sponsored by the cartels. Bring your toy car, and we will have a good ole time! Make sure you desert equip it.

Lenny... is it required to come back with bales stapped to the roof? Or just "suggested"?

Wags, you should see what they use for seat filler material on the return trip.

"It was the unibody frame that did the twisties"
Heh, I don't think these "twisties" are the kind produced by this cross-border race.

No guys,

The only bales I deal with are cotton. My drugs of choice are coffee (caffiene and lots of it), Marlboros (or double happy cigs in China), beer (Cheap no name beer augmented by home brew in the US and Zhu Jiang..Pearl River beer in China) and the occasional snake wine shooter.

BTW this has to go down in Fabnet history as the most thorough disrailing of a thread to date! And it all started with Kelsey, Brian and I talking trash about cars as good ole boys tend to do now and again!
