This may be of no interest here, I don't know. I get "Dwell" magazine, and there's a blurb about Marsotto Edizioni, who works in sculpted marble. "Marsotto specializes in countertops and fixtures and commissioned a handful of notable names in design to collaborate on its new Edizioni collection, produced largely by CNC machine and finished by hand".
It was the "countertop" and "CNC" that made me think of you guys. Here is a
link to his website, on which I didn't really see any images of countertops. But there is a lot of cool stuff.
