The first thing I would do is check every fuse on the machine.

I get faults when there is dust between the connections or when I hit the emergency stop button. When I try to disconnect the emergency stop, the connector won't disengage because of the dust.
I tap on the side of the connector and it releases.
During the power surge there may be an auto shutoff that flips when the power is too low to operate the machine.
Just a guess, hope it helps.

Thanks guys,
Had a techie out from Breton and had to replace the drive module. £1600 in parts and about £500 in labour.
Ouch, expensive power surge.
Will be fitting a surge protector at the weekend I think.

That is an ouch. We had a power surge on our phone system and had to buy $500 worth of new phones. Cheaper to buy the surge protector, but they are expensive.
