I think it is the same stuff I saw at Home Depot. Even their sample boards looked like crap.
It has been my experience that folks who have no vices have very few virtues.

I replaced a laminate top done with this stuff. The customer paid someone $1800 for granite tops... looked good for a few months, then the edges started flacking off, around the sink bubbled up.... A new ss top was $2700... what people pay for crap!
