Hello Fab Net members! I just want to thank those of you who have sent my son Tyler some post cards for his school project. We have received some from Kevin Padden in AZ, Lenny in TX, David Gerard in AL, and Gene McD in FL. I just received an interesting "card" from Joe Corlett in MI as well. Interesting choice for a 6 year old Joe, however Andy did seam to appreciate it I must say. Thank you for the thought though! Thanks to all of you for sending in the post cards. The kids are learning about the various states in this great country of ours and Tyler is going to be a very popular kid bringing in all of these postcards! He said to tell you all that "your cool!" We appreciate the help! Val |

From the sound of your post, it seems only the card I sent to Andy has arrived, even though I mailed his and Tyler's at the same time.
Patience, my dear,
Joe |

Val, You are welcome, it was my pleasure. Let me know if Tyler needs some more, if so I can mail from postoffices in nearby towns, so they will all have a different zip and postmark. |

Got both postcards Joe. Nice choice and wonderful artwork. Got the second card a day later. Funny how the post office works.
Joe, did you make the second card?
My son loved the cards. Thanks everyone who sent one, much appreciated. Love to see the kid smile like that. Funny what a letter in the mail for a six year old will do.

Andy: Your card was a gift from my brother to me during our Mexico trip. I was looking for an opportunity to send it. Tyler's card is homemade. I had some posterboard from my Interior Design class left over. Joe |

Unfortunately Joe patience is not one of my virtues!! LOL! Thanks for the homemade card though. What did you say it was made out of? Did I hear that you were taking an art class? Tell me more! I have recently taken up jewlery making in my "spare time." Love the creative stuff! Thanks again Joe! |

Just an FYI everyone, Tyler went back to school today after 11 days off from Spring Break with a backpack full of postcards to show his teacher and guess what???? TEACHER WAS NOT THERE!! He had a sub! He was soooo disappointed!! Hopefully she will be back tomorrow so he can hand them all in. Thanks again for all your help! It is so nice to feel the support of the FabNet members. Val, I sent the Museum card because I thought I remembered that Linda and John stopped there to see the Norman Rockwell exhibit on their trip last year, I could be wrong about that. Rich |

Well,
Tyler's teacher was back at school this morning so I brought her all of the new postcards. Tyler has by far brought in the most postcards. So thanks again to all of you. His teacher is going to continue the project until the end of the school year so please feel free to keep sending in the post cards!
Thanks again! Val

Hello All, Just went to "Open House" for Tyler's school and we saw the project with the postcards. Tyler is on the bottom of the picture. He says, "Thank You". |
