"Zhozev, on hot night likea dees onez, vee shud be remoovink layers, no?
Mazhenta iss so yoo.."

That's the reason I post here.

She talks like that too.

Thanks,

Joe

I got my grades tonight.

I got a "C" in CAD, a "B+" in Math, an "A-" in Interior Design and an "A" in American Literature. 3.18 GPA this semester, so I went from 3.80 to 3.60.

I'll take it.

Joe

Congrats on the CAD scores. I take it you were at least a little pleased?

Joe, this looked like a good spot to mention my son's grades. He is a Junior at USF, Pre-Med, he got 3-A's and 2-B's, that's five classes and he also works full time and shadows a doctor on Friday's who is one of my past customers. The boy is a bad ass.

Tom:

Yes, I'm very pleased considering this was the most difficult class I've ever taken in my life. I usually value my wife's opinion more than anything, but she was wrong to urge me to drop this class. My willingness to let the chips fall where they may and my work ethic have apparently served me well. Well enough, anyway.

Norm:

Yes, brag about your son here, I love to hear good news. My twenty-five-year old ex-Marine nephew is getting straight "A's" in Calculus and was offered a $16.50 an hour summer internship by the local electric utility. He never even applied, they just found him through the school. They don't even know what they're going to have him doing exactly, they just didn't want him getting away.

These kids aren't buying into all the doom and gloom "sky-is-falling" crap we hear. If I have to bet on these kids or the naysayers here, my money's on the kids. They will not be denied.

Congratulations Joe! I'm sure that took many hours of hard work, and it paid off.

Have a nice weekend,

Joe,

Well done!

If anybody could do it,  it's you.

Hard work always pays off.

What's next on your education adventure?

Paul:

When I resumed my education, my goal was to get an Associates Degree and make a decision from there. I'll have the Associates at the end of fall semester if I take 14 credit hours.

I can't imagine not continuing for a four year degree. Although the cuties at school ignore me with frightening regularity, attending school makes me feel young and more alive.

And you get to renew all those dreams about taking the final exam realizing you never went to class.

Those were frightening.
