Dear Domain Industries: I need some of those mesh sink studs again. I Googled you and got your website, but there is no telephone number on your website. Resourceful person that I am, I knew you advertised here. I clicked on your ad where you specifically tell us to call for a catalog, but you don't post a telephone number. May I suggest you take a peek at your competitor's website? Chemcore/Dovae has an 800 number blasting across every page. I never designed a website, but if i did, I am 100% certain it would contain every concieveable method by which a potential, let alone a regular, customer could contact me, without all that time consuming registration crap. You guys just hired Joe from ISFA. He's a big web guy. Maybe you should have him take a look at this. Meanwhile, I'll be looking at Chemcore. Joe P.S.: We could have kept this private, had I a way to contact you. |

That's kind of silly. Why push lurkers away? Like Joe says - put the gosh darn contact info as many places as you can. |

I am window buying. Go ask Chemcore, I just ordered my sink clips. I bought them from Domain the last time. I would have been a repeat customer had I an easily found phone number. I'm busy. I'm not going to fill out a page of information to buy sink clips. Who told these guys this was a good idea? It is not, obviously. Joe |

Kelsey: I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed this either. Maybe some web-head thought since every other website on earth has a "contact us" button that somehow made it "old school" and now obsolete. Joe |

Jon, I googled it... found nothing. I have their number at work on speed dial... but I think is was a major slip on who designed their site. |

I think it would be easy to add a contact us tab at the top. It is a brand new site and I am sure they will get that fixed in short order. I am a proponent of having contact information on all pages of a site. Why not give the customer every opportunity to see your name and number. Joe, I always find it interesting when companies remove what they consider to be obsolete but is really something that should be standard for all. |

Hi Everybody! Oh Mr. Corlett, Nice to see you're still stirring up great conversation. It keeps everyone coming back. Regarding a phone number, we take some effort to keep our contact information out of the consumers eye. Domain Industries is quite proud in being for the fabricator. We don't sell to the end user, and take every step of precaution to keep the pricing and contact info protected, so that we can keep our focus on our primary customers... you guys. We offer several different avenues to find our contact information, including signing up for the website, requesting a free catalog, and our contact information can be found in several trade magazines. We feel as though all of these avenues combined do a great job in getting our name and number out there. Sorry to hear about your sink clips. Perhaps next time you will give us a shot. I would suggest going to www.freedomaincatalog.com and signing up to receive our regular quarterly catalog. That way you'll always have our number handy. Take care guys, -Joseph Winters Domain Industries, Inc. toll free: (866) 385-7775 |
