Look at the post andy... that was for 3 nights, however the special runs most of Feb. Click on the link.. then enter your dates... Last time I stayed at the Luxor, these suites were going for $300/night. I got the cheaper tower room... Here are the rates for the show dates for the "SPA SUITE" per night.
| 2/7 $70.00 |
2/8 $65.00 |
| 2/9 $65.00 |
2/10 $65.00 |
2/11 $65.00

ONE WEEK FROM TODAY and it's SHOWTIME. The Colts will have won the Super Bowl and we'll all be at the show commiserating or rejoicing about the game and where our industry is going in 2010 and beyond. Looking forward to seeing you there. I'm almost as pumped as I believe Gene maybe. GEMSTONE |

I think I may need to talk to someone at the front desk about an upgrade... I can't seem to find the Valentine's Day special on the website. That's about what I'm paying for a "Tower Deluxe" room. My problem is that I'm also going to be there Friday and Saturday night and the prices are a lot higher for those nights. Maybe I'll go down to the front desk on Monday sometime and see if they can upgrade me for the last 2 nights.

Sorry about that KC, I didn't see the dates with the prices. Do you happen to know if the Luxor is walking distance to the Mandalay Bay? |

Andy,
It's next door to Mandalay Bay, between the Excalibur, where we're staying @ $39.00/night and the Mandalay bay.

GEMSTONE I will be in Seward Alaska at a cross country ski race watching my daughter compete for 1 of the top 2 positions(again ) no time for super bowl. I'll miss you guys though, one of these times i'll make it to another show. Lane, Gene will be wanting a portrait of you for documentation, it's policy for all the new members if they are available for a pic. |

You don't even need to step a foot outside to get between the Luxor and Mandalay bay. |

Andy,
I believe there's a tram or monorail between the three hotels so your walking could be a minimum to get to the tram.

Andy- shouldn't you be on wheels at the show?
I will be staffing The MIA Booth (519) and staying at the Luxor. Swing by and say hi. I am looking forward to this show and meeting some fellow fabnetters.

Hey Jeff, Yes I should probably not be walking that much, but it is not that I won't be able to get around. Hopefully, I can do a lot of sitting. Need to get one of those Segways, that would be nice. |

I'd like the FabNet webcam back up and working. |

A webcam of the show floor wouldn't have shown a whole lot in my opinion. I didn't take any pictures but I know that Gene and Andy have a few. My flight leaves around noon tomorrow (Wednesday) so I'm heading to the airport after breakfast. ...before the pictures go up, did anyone else here other than Gene and Jon assume that I have a mustache? |
