Thanks Mike. That is what we are considering doing on the end of our showroom wall as well. Do you allow your customers into those cabinets or is it just for the sales staff to pull the sample for the customer?

We let the customer into the big cabinets. We actually walk them over to it open the doors and let them have at it. We have a big conference table that we let them lay them out on. I've had customers spend in excess of 2 hours looking and it only take an occaisional "Any Luck Yet". When they are ready they let us know and then we finalize thier estimate. Customers that are undecided on a color choice really enjoy being turned loose. (This applies only to the Solid Surface side. We have large samples of all the Quartz products we do so if they want to take a smaller sample we will get that one for them.

I think Joe has convinced me to at least try. I have no clue what I will actually say, but I will probably start with the ideas here on the thread. I don't see anyone totally objecting to this idea except Linda who is more involved with the customers than me.

Andy, if it would make it any easier, just pretend to be someone else...

You could start by saying " Hi I'm Joe Corlett with OliveMill, some call me Kowboy...

Andy:

I practice what I preach. It's Sunday afternoon, an excellent time to find old servicemagic lead potential customers at home. First call, no one home, I left a message. Second call, lady was glad I called and I'm repairing her top first thing tomorrow morning.

Won't call? No work for you.

Joe
