Alright, now that I know you guys a little  better I'll throw my two cents in.

Unions, ACLU, DoDo Birds.

One down, two to go.

Chris, would it be impolite of me to note that that is good redneck humour?

"cause that's funny right there, I don't care who you are.

Tom,

I know rednecks personally, that most think only exist on TV.

And most of them are pretty good people.  Some, sadly, are the white trash that many think.  I guess this is no different than anywhere else.

I thought the show was pretty good.  Where else could you see all that solid surface stuff in one place?  I learned something new from Harry at Moraware again.  I think everytime I see him, I learn something new.

Flexicam was pretty nice machine, wish I had it but I already spent the family savings on a Multicam.

The Lansen booth was real impressive.

All the electronic Templating systems were there.  If you had questions, you could get your answers.

Integra got the bar and the taco platter right next to their booth so it was a good time.  EOS had table set up to sit and eat.

For me, because I have been to the expo for ten years, I have seen most of the stuff.  Still a good time though.  I really enjoy talking with all the people.

BTW, my father belonged to the Steel workers union back in the day in Pittsburgh. Mom worked at Westinghouse and was in the union. Like Al said, it aint our fathers (or mothers) union anymore. A couple of years ago, while in Pittsburgh, I went to where mom worked at Westinghouse. I stood on the bridge overlooking the plant. Closed my eyes. Many thoughts running through my head. You could almost here the hustle & bustle of a plant making goods for America. Looked up the hills at all the homes that surrounded it . All the homes that were once alive with families, many of them worked at Westinghouse. Cradle to grave. I thought how that must have been such a special time in American history.

I opened my eyes. The reality of close to a million square feet of empty space. Idle train tracks. Dilapidated houses.

Yeah, unions had their place. When there was no overseas or south of the border competion. They could afford to be greedy back then. Problem is, they continued with their greed and corruption, even after the plants were shuttered.

I speak from both sides of the aisle.

Anyway, I've said my piece on unions.

Now, back to the show. If our phones are an indication, and they are, thanks to one and all for smoking every line today. It is very much appreciated!!

Sounds like you all had a great time. Sorry I missed it, but I am also glad that we did not bear the expense here to go to see another repetitious show (Fabnet not withstanding). It has seemed to me that the last couple of shows have been "the same old thing".

Seems like the story I heard from everyone who went was about the union loaders. None of them were good.

I would have loved to have met you guys there, though. And Tom,  you are more than welcome to one of my three potato cannons. I hardly even use them anymore since the mailman quit coming around...........

I thought the show was outstanding. I have a notebook full of notes. I have so many objectives to put into pace I don't where to start.
