Holy Cr*p man! Now those folks truly are on the cutting edge. That was beautiful. The possibilities with solid surface have always been endless and they are certainly taking it to the extreme.
Is anyone currently using the so called "squirrel fixings" they show for attachment? |

Chris, type in keyword "squirrel fixings". The abive posted link comes up along with a place called MCD marketing. The worls "squirrel" as it relates to those fasteners for Corian is trademarked. One of the picks has them on Corian cabinet doors. |

The squirrels where displayed at last years show. I thought it was the most innovated idea of the show. We have been using them quite a bit here. Here's a picture of one application.

Are those table legs? What type of adhesive gun is that? Looks a lot different than mine.

We use a gun like that for a 1:1 epoxy from Chemical Concepts to mount sink hardware. |

Hey Shane its a Corian Mini-Bulk Gun I would love to enter the table the legs go to do. But its off to Germany. Hopefully next year.

I happen to have 3000 og thise Mini-Bilk tips hangin around if your're interested. Yes Shane, mixpac makes that gun. Around 35 bucks. |

I used the "Squirrel fixings" quite a few times they worked quite well, they were called Corian Squirrels when I used them. |

Thanks for posting the pics. Although I found the Hoey chair one of the most artistic uses of Corian, the chairs Sterling did for the train station almost a decade ago remain the work to beat. No one has, this work included.
