    Heck, neither am I.
I live in Ct. (sorry to all you Michiganders out there.)
Question: Is a gropup of Michiganders a Michigaggle?

    Rob,

I would like to discuss with you what you are looking for.  We are a growing company with a need for talented people.  I am not interested in hiring short term people.  I am looking for skilled craftsmen and management positions.  E-mail me you phone number and I will call you.

Hey Rob. What do you think a company should do for you?

Do you feel your skills are being overlooked?

    Rob:

If your search for employment isn't going as well as you'd  hoped, here's a suggestion:

Drop Rob and start calling yourself Roberto, send a copy of your obviously faked green card out with your resume and if someone calls you on the phone to follow up, roll your "r's" as you speak. Act enthused, but a little paranoid. When they schedule an interview, say you'd love to, but first they need  to send you $250.00 for an alternator for your hoopty.

If you'd like to stay in this industry as an employee, I gaurantee this will work great.

    Joe

Jon, yes my skills are entirely overlooked. I was brought to this company for politcal purposes basically. I am WAY out of thier league. What I expect from a company I work for is alot of the obvious things....good safe work enviroment, the ability to speak to my fellow co-workers in english, a sense of securtiy, options to reitire. O...and not be lied to I hate liars. Just say what it is. I am not looking for a short term situation because I could milk this if I was that type of person. I just can not work for a company that has no plan for the future, no structure,or shows no progress. I dont  brag about my skills....I let my work do that....finding a job around here is easy.....keeping my career in line isnt. For me this is all about where will I be in ten years? I do not intend on working for anyone that hires me as a production manager ...then leave me in that spot for ten years....I want advancement options.

This may be politically incorrect, but you may want to look into CTI.  They are home depots fabrication centers. I believe they have about 10 or 12 presently, but are looking into setting many more up.  They offer full benefits, lots of potential for growth and the backing of a huge company.
