All:

Dani Homrich and I took an estone road trip for inspection and repairs. You've gotta read it at the link, 'cause I just don't have the picture thing here down yet and the pics are critical:

Joe I love this stuff ....... Welcome to my world....

Joe wrote .... "Now you won’t find this on Dani’s video or in any fabrication manual, but when the homeowner breaks out the beer, SET DOWN YOUR TOOLS, YOU ARE FINISHED. This isn’t about beer, it’s about acceptance."

Thats better than any sign off sheet, I remember one job we finished up, it was a long hard day. At the end the owner goes over to his pantry cabinet and pulls out 3 warm beers . Drinking a warm beer and smiling is not as EZ as it looks.

Joe wrote .... " I’m repeating myself, but the repair business is much more about people than techniques."  ....... "If I had to recruit a repairman from a shop crew, I’d teach my best communicator to polish rather than teach my best polisher to communicate. "

I'd say this about Installers also !

Nice job Joe and Dani !

You can really rate a customer on the type of beer they served. Any thing under a Bass Ale would be an insult.

Jon,

I was so happy to see the beers, I didn't care at all that it was a Light Beer. When the customer is happy and you saved LG over 4 grand on a do over everybody is happy and who cares what kind of beer it is. I had to do a perfect match on the finish, because this customer would not accept 99.99% and that is't a walk in the park with ES.

Karl:

Thanks, I try to be a multi-dimensional poster. A little technical, a little humor, a little business and a little teasing, in no particular order or quantity.
