Andy,

Great idea , as usual. Not only does that show the glow but also the amount  of degradation of the glow with time, Important info for fabbbers and consumers.

From experience, there is a superglow effect- first 20-30 minutes. Then it slowly declines over the next 8-10 hours.

BTW we made this in many colors. The first color we experimented with was the Halloween Green (I liked the powder blue we offer currently much better). I had a sheet in my bedroom in Vegas. Im a light sleeper, dont like light, noise, etc. I couldnt sleep with that sheet in the room. Id put on blinders (those eye patches) and wake up 4 hours later and the Lumistone was still glowing stong enough to break my sleep.

Finally I had to throw it in a closet to get my 40 winks. BTW photos never do it justice, its like me, or fabnet and needs to be experienced to be believed!

Although please listen to the advice Mr Gene has offerred, still tripod, slow exposure , long time, is the best way to photograph Lumistone. It mimics natural biological viewing conditions, i.e the rod receptors in the human eye.

Hello Everyone we have some new shots of the benches including some nighttime shots. It was a challenge to take the pictures not from the camera angle . The area even at night was too bright I wish there was tortal darkness

If you go to our Flickr site (Link below) you can see the shots. I thought the larger pictures would look highlight the job better.

Funny how the material looks almost brown with the glowing inlays.

Cool stuff Jon...hey I forgot what post it was on..but I did thank you for the box of Luma-Flakes

Its great doing something different isnt it? I bet the owner of the project is happy!...on their next budget expense sell them a wavy canapy for the benches...this way they can sit on them in the rainy weather and then seclude the benches in more darkness...but to me they look like they are glowing pretty good

Thanx Jon,

Those pix are great. I thought the job turned out pretty well even with the ambient  background light.

Gene,

I cant wait to see what you are doing with those Lumi flakes!
