Jon,
That should be quite eerie at night.

I am curious to see if there is a need for drainage holes, or if the design is more slatted.

I still haven't made the park benches there due in October. During the Shop tour in September they be on the floor. We can turn the lights off and have a party.

Okay making some progress on the Benches.Still not done. But the project consist of 28 park benches made out of Corian with over 7,000 letters routed out of Lumistone. I hope to have pictures before the week is over.

Hello Every one .Here's a nice article about Corian being used in a cool application.. It was Fabricated by a good friend of mine from France. The name of his company is called Crea-diffusion. In my opinion the number 1 fabricator out there. He is the only Fabricator I know of that can thermo form a whole top edge and all in one process. Pretty amazing.

Jon:

That was very interesting. I would like to have seen some in-process pictures and some details as to how they hung the panels.

Thanks,

Joe

I thought Martin at Rosskopf was only doing Hi-Macs. The article says he did the floor inlay pieces.

We need more of this stuff here, in this country.

Yeah. me too. Eight sheets per panel? That's some serious installation planning.

Jon,

Thanks, that was truly awe inspiring. They do alot  of cutting edge projects in the EU. Whenever I get a call for something unusual, 90% of the time its from the EU.

Tom, that was a great observation, I agree , we need more of that on this side of the pond.

I think the efforts of people like Jon, always pushing the envelope, getting in the faces of the design community will help alot toward that end.

It seems Europeans have more interest in artistic design than Americans.

Why cant the designers in the US design the same stuff? Lets force them too. Keep taking up SS it's not a flat surface. It can be used for more than just CT's.

I have to agree with Jon on this one. WE have to drive this train!

I don't work there anymore and it certainly is not the best, BUT ISSFA created (well, I did just before I was laid off) an architectural presentation kit. Some of you got a copy at that meeting in Devens, MA. It is not as good as Grant's or Martin's BUT can help get the word out!

Since many of us are complaining that work is slow, NOW might be the time to give a presentation to architects! It will not take alot of your time and the kit was fairly well self contained. If you are afraid to give a presentation, there is even a script you can read from.

Have any of you that got the presentation used it yet? How did it go? If not, please let me know what has kept you from trying. I will try to help you out.

WOW!

I ask how many had looked at the Architect Presentation or used it and got nothing!

Is it that bad?  What kind of thing do you need to help promote SS?
