Rick, don't buy the cheap ones at the Depot. They loose thier clamping strength within six months. I was told not to, did it anyway. Bessey Clamps are pretty good |

I have good luck with those $1 Home depot clamps. I use Pony clamps too. The HD clamps have a little more pressure. I have had some of them a least 3yrs and they work fine. They may have some from different manufacturers though. Curt |

Rick, Click on the link for Bruce Adhesives... get their phone #. Call them up and tell them you want to buy 100 pony clamps, you will like their price. I use mainly pony's.. did buy a cheaper imported, about 50 of them, and they have lost some of their pressure....
The guys at Bruce are VERY helpful, friendly and ship as fast as lightning... |

Rick, I use pony clamps and like them. I got my 250 of them before Bruce Adhesives was around. (18 yrs.) All of them are still going strong. Like Kelsey said. You will like doing business with Bruce Adhesives. Fast and very friendly. Johnny C |

Ahh, Dani clamps! Can you saw up a properly picked plastic pipe and make a dani clamp? Just kidding, sort of. Maybe I could, but most others would choose the wrong pipe.
Just Wondering,
BTW Dani is a way cool guy. If I were fabricating Id buy his clamps on mere reputation only.
His clamps are very novel, I had formica guys rant against them, eww they take up too much space, they are unweildy yada yada BS ad infinitum.
I replied, your spring clamps are your paradigm, Dani is a visionary, snake them Dani clamps up your arm and change that paradigmn.
Anyway like John the Baptist, I was the voice of one crying in the wilderness.
He (Dani) has some way cool ways to do backsplashes (coves boyz) and other novel ideas.
Give dani clamps a look! It will rock your world.

We have used the Pony spring clamps for over 20 years and love them. I must say I haven't used the Dani Clamp but people I have talked with either lover em or hate em.
The guys at Bruce Adhesives are good group of folks. They should be able to take care of it for you.

As an ex plumber, I must admit to being leery about the DANI clamps. After using them for 4 years at ITEC, I now like them alot and use them where they work best, edges and cove (IMO). I am a big fan of using the tool that works best in the given situation and think a variety of clamps of different kinds is best.
On another note, I too have had bad experiences with the black spring clamps from DePot loosing their spring after only a few tops. |

I have never tried the cheapo depot variety, but I will say that this is an area where one does not want to use crap. The difference may seem subtle, but could be disastrous. I have used Dani clamps for a great while. Sometimes they are acting as just another clamp, along with springers, but sometimes they are so perfect for the situation that you'd be an idiot to have them and not use them. They have saved me many extra hours in time over the years. |

Jon,
That made me laugh, and gave me my daily smile. Thanks.
This is a fecitious post that follows (sort of). heh heh.
Actually they dont even use the black clamps in China, or clamps at all for that matter. Allegedly After gluing up the buildup, they smear some sticky rice on the edge , and 27 guys guys clamp down on the edge with their teeth to get some much needed food.
Thank God ya all work in America!
