You know I spoke with Jon on the phone and he gave me so many exuses, I couldn't write them down fast enough.

He is just thankful the NFL has saved him.  Little suprised he has not stuck up for them.

Andy,

Please delete this thread.

Everyone knows my St. Louis Cardinals have bragging rights until next October.

Good Point.  Let me give it some thought.

I will keep the thread on here until the Red Sox win a world series again.

Jon,
The Red Sox are paying around 50 million just to talk to some guy?

Sheesh.

They are actually spending double that.  They are giving him a crap load of money and giving 50+ to the Japanes team as a trade.  But they do it a little different than the Yanks, they wont look til he is 40.

I should be down there in March and April (April on the East Coast).
Save some for me, now.

East coast where Tom? I'm on the east coast. As a matter of fact, I can drive 1 mile west of the homestead and have my toes in the Gulf of Mexico.

Dave,
Umm... if you're on the East coast, and one mile gets your tootsies into the gulf waters, you must be waaayyy down at the bottom?

My folks snowbird in Cape Canaveral. About 1000 feet from the Atlantic Ocean. We took my son to see a Shuttle lift off when he was seven, or so. Went out on that causeway. Marvelous.

He and my daughter have now seen night shots, day shots, and shuttle launches. I still get shivers.
