I apologize if this is not the correct area to post this.  I am new to the forums and I am in search for an electronic template.  Either a dxf.file, dwg or cad drawing. The sink I am in need of is the:

Jacuzzi BK38-959

Can anyone help me?

Thanks.

Melanie,
Either Firefox doesn't work well with their site, or they have an awful site, but either way I'm having a tough time navigating through it.

You might want to call them. Most manufactureres are pretty good at getting the info emailed out if they are asked nicely (my experience, anyway).

I got this from their site:

Questions? Contact technicalassistance@jacuzzi.com

Interested in becoming an Authorized Service Company? Contact:
Dave Specht
National Field Service Manager
1-972-232-3200

It's as good a place to start as any.

If you call trhem, ask if they would be willing to send a full set to someone. If so, let me know and I will call them and ask for as many as they have, and forward it to Seth or Andy.

I don't have Jacuzzi DXF files either but if you ever get them I would love to post them on the FabNet.

I appreciate the responses.  I have contacted Jacuzzi and they are the first company I have dealt with that I have not been satisfied.  They do not do electronic templates of the majority of their sinks.  I do however have a couple of the other jacuzzi sink templates should anyone like them, please feel free to email me.

I have the BJ72917, BJ72934 and a EAM2236-R669

We are bringing the sink in from the customer and digitizing it later today, so I will have that file once we get the sink here.

Thanks again for all your help.

Melanie,
It looks like you may be helping us more than we helped you. Good start.

I honestly don't know why the manufacturers don't universally post CAD files for their product. We let our customers know if we have to hunt for the file, and of the cooperation we get from which manufacturer. That little bit of PR goes a long way.

I would be happy to grab a few sinks dropped off from a distributor every week and digitize them if they aren't already availble. Maybe four a week. They could take the sinks back when they drops off the next set. Would anyone else be willing to help out on this?

Would any dist. reps reading this see any issues?

Tom,

I appreciate what you are saying here trying to help.  However I think these companies need to help their customers (us) with quality DXF files.  Maybe if we just call these companies and request them more often they will get them done.

Melanie,

If you still have the dxf for the BJ72934 I could really use it.  I emailed the company three days ago and have not received a response yet.  I also have called twice with no luck either.  If you can send the files to kwshuprt@click1.net.
